Jon Reddick is an American singer and worship leader. He is best known for the song 'God, Turn It Around', which reached the Top 5 of Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart.[1]
Career[]
Reddick released his debut single, 'You Keep Hope Alive', in 2019. The song was later covered by Mandisa with one of the verses being sung by Reddick;[2] this version of the song peaked at number 17 on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart.[1]
In 2021, 'God, Turn It Around', a song Reddick released in 2019,[3] entered the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart. It eventually reached a peak of number 4 in June 2022.[1] Reddick later released a new version of the song featuring Matt Maher.[4] The song also charted at number 13 on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs End-of-Year Chart.[5]
Reddick released his debut album, God, Turn It Around, in 2022.[2] In January 2023, Reddick released a new single entitled 'I Believe It (The Life Of Jesus)'.[6]
Personal Life[]
Reddick is based in Tennessee. His sister, Janice Gaines, is also a performing artist.[4]
Faith[]
Reddick serves as worship pastor at Church of the City in Franklin, USA, alongside fellow musician Chris McClarney.[2]
In a 2022 interview, Reddick explained his motivation for releasing worship music: 'Looking back at the story of my life, I can see the hand of God guiding me — even when I didn’t always go willingly. I am so thankful, because now I get to follow the thread God’s weaving and His work — both in my life and in the lives of those I get to lead in worship each week'.[4]
