Guilhereme Brazil,[1] known professionally as Gui Brazil, is a Portugese DJ.[2] He has released music in both English and Portugese.[1]
Early Life[]
Brazil was born in Portugal to pastors Tony and Shirley Brazil.[3]
Career[]
Brazil's first release was a remix of the Wallber Pinheiro song 'Deep Love',[4] which later appeared on his debut collection of music, 4You.[5] He released his debut album, Shake The World, in 2016.[6]
In 2018, Brazil performed at the Canòlich Music Festival in Andorra, alongside British dance group LZ7.[2]
In 2021, Brazil released the EP Shake The Africa, a collection of songs using samples he had recorded whilst on a missionary trip to Africa. The EP contained features from African musicians LC Beatz and Lenick.[6] In the same year, he helped produce remixes of 'Meu Jesus' by Bember,[3] and 'Yeshua' by Eleni Baker.[7]
Personal Life[]
Brazil lives in Lisbon with his wife Maisa.[3]
