Samuel Nwachukwu[1] (born 18 April 1995[2]), known professionally as CalledOut Music, is a British-Nigerian Christian artist.

Early Life[]

Nwachukwu was born in Nigeria, moving to the United Kingdom when he was 12. He began playing the piano at age 7.[3]

Career[]

Nwachukwu released his first single, Working On Me, in April 2016.[4] His first EP, 'The Collection', was released in 2018.[5]

In 2019, Nwachukwu released the music video to his song 'Love Around',[6] for which he won the Best Video award in the Premier Gospel Awards.[7] In 2020, he won the MOBO award for the Best Gospel Act.[8]

In early 2022, Nwachukwu became a founding member of British worship group Manor Collective, alongside a group of artists including Elle Limebear. The group released their debut single, Father's House, in January 2022.[9]

Nwachukwu released his third album, My Beautiful Reality, in 2022.[10]

Faith[]

Nwachukwu credits his parents and his pastor for helping him to maintain his faith. When asked about reaching audiences as a Christian, he responded 'If God decides that he wants me to reach the masses over the next two years, he will make it happen ... If it's God’s will for my life to sing my own Christian music in [smaller] venues, then fine'.[1]
