Big Tent Revival are an American[1] Christian band, who were active in the 1990s.

History[]

The band was formed in Tennessee, by Steve Wiggins, who had previously recorded solo material.[1] Their eponymous debut album was released in 1995, with their second album, Open All Nite, being released in 1997;[2] both were nominated in the Best Rock Gospel category of the GRAMMY awards.[3]

The band's third album, Amplifier, was released in 1998, with their fourth, Choose Life, being released a year later.[2] Again, both were nominated for the GRAMMY Best Rock Gospel category, as was a live album the band recorded in 2001.[3]

In 2012, the band launched a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter to release a new album,[4] which was eventually released in October of that year and named The Way Back Home.[2]
